And, it never will [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [12]. It's not designed to succeed For The People. It's designed to enrich those in power - the politicians, propaganda media, and Big Tech. Socialism has been tried, retried and retried with the same result, no matter how it's tweaked, because the underlying principle is the same. It takes incentive, initiative, risk taking and hard work out of the equation. People soon realize that no matter how hard you try, there is no opportunity to better yourself. Many people then resign, feeling "why bother?" - nothing is going to improve.
With Socialism politicians have a fundamental problem that guarantees its fate [3]:
Socialism cannot and will not succeed. Things start off well, as wealth is redistributed. But then incentives disappear, production falls, the momentum cannot be sustained. We've just gotten a very SMALL taste of Socialism. Under the guise of COVID-19 pandemic relief, generous relief payments were sent out to the population, even to those who suffered no loss of job or other income. Unemployment benefits were generously increased - people quit their jobs and didn't bother to look for a new job because they were receiving "free stuff". At the same time, there were thousands of good job openings - even jobs that paid very well. The result has been shortages of things we never had to worry about in the past, delays in shipments, and historically high price increases (hint: check the latest food, gasoline, rent, and new and used car prices). The Biden administration's solution? - You've been spoiled - just lower your expectations! Now, that's Build Back Better in action for you.
Those in power cashed-in. They didn't miss a single paycheck, they raked in millions of dollars from lobbyists who stood to benefit from the pandemic, and they control the political propaganda broadcast in the news and social media. The pandemic even minted scores of new Billionaires who profited from the worldwide emergency [8], [9].
Under COVID-19 we have also experienced the dictatorial Governmental behavior that you can routinely expect under Socialism. Take an experimental vaccine shot or else lose your job. No factual backup, just do as I say. Don't ask questions, and don't dare challenge the dictate. This is what citizens in Socialist countries face every day. In the future you can expect even your Welfare payments will be tied to you following whatever Government dictate is imposed.
There are scores of remnants of failed former Socialist nations struggling to recover, and there are others crumbling as we speak. Citizens who have escaped those countries openly and clearly warn of what they have experienced, and fear seeing it emerge here. But those in power - those that stand to cash in - hope that we don't listen. If we do, their gravy train ends.
Of course, that's what you've been told by the complicit mainstream media, propaganda arm of the DNC. The truth is, "Capitalism is the worst economic system, except for all the others" [7].
The obvious point of this well known truth is, it is more worthwhile to teach someone to do something (for themselves) than to do it for them (on an ongoing basis). You want to teach your children, for instance, to become ever more capable so that they mature to become responsible adults.
The Liberal Left Democrat goal is insidious. They want you to remain child-like (dependent on them forever), because then you can be controlled by the threat that you will lose their support (job, welfare, ability to travel, freedom to voice your opinion, religious freedom, etc.). By this the Liberal Left Democrats can control every aspect of your life.
Don't fall for the trap. Take responsibility for yourself TODAY. Own you future TODAY. Don't let anybody tell you that you are a Victim, hopeless without their "help".
Don't Take The Bait
So, why don't we hear more about the experiences of citizens in Socialist countries? It's called selective censorship - of anybody who dares to step out of line. Accompanied by saturation communication about the party line. Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram block or censor accounts, remove or place warning labels on content they don't like. Google alters its search algorithms to steer you to the content they want you to see. Trending reports are geared to the propaganda of the Liberal Democrats.
Don't Take The Bait
This oft-retold update to an Aesop's Fable, The Ant and the Grasshopper, illustrates the fate of Socialism well:
OLD VERSION
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away. Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.
The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Be responsible for yourself!
NEW VERSION

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.
CBS, MSNBC, NBC, PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. America is stunned by the sharp contrast.
How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?
Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper, and everybody cries when they sing, “It’s Not Easy Being Green.”
Al Sharpton stages a demonstration in front of the ant’s house where the news media film the group singing, “We shall overcome.” Al then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper’s sake.
Nancy Pelosi & Chuck Schumer exclaim in an interview with Rachel Maddow that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.
Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity and Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer. The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government.
Facebook banned the ant from posting on his Facebook account because of his unsubstantiated complaints about the grasshopper, Twitter now posts a warning on all of ant's messages stating that they contain disinformation, and Google and Apple removed the Antler social media app from their stores to protect public safety.
Hillary Clinton gets her old law firm to represent the grasshopper in a defamation suit against the ant, and the case is tried before a panel of federal judges that Bill Clinton appointed from a list of single-parent welfare recipients.
The ant loses the case.
The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of the ant’s food while the Government house he is in, which just happens to be the ant’s old house, crumbles around him because he doesn’t maintain it.
The ant has disappeared in the snow.
The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once peaceful neighborhood.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Be careful how you vote.
