The Liberal Left has chosen to reject God; they are godless. The godless don't believe in God. The godless don't believe there is a God. As a result, the godless become their own gods. The godless gods believe themselves to be inerrant. They broadcast their propaganda loudly and incessantly, and squash any who dare to challenge the gospel of the godless. When glaring inconsistencies and corruption are pointed out it is labeled as "misinformation". And never mind that the gospel of the godless is ever shifting as they morph from one "truth" to the latest distorted "truth".
The godless gods are guided only by the power they can achieve and the pleasure they can obtain.
The Bible refers to a "Beast" who will control who can buy and sell. We're seeing that lived out today. If you have an opinion that differs from the Liberal Left you can be fired from your job. If you resist compliance with political dictates that are not backed by Science, you can lose your livelihood, be barred from travel, and barred from business establishments, public and Government places.
The Bible also has plenty to say about America's condition under the Liberal Left:
The time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching,
but will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,
and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.
2 Timothy 4:3-4 (ESV)
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!
Isaiah 5:20-21 (ESV)
Do not be deceived:
neither the sexually immoral,
nor idolaters,
nor adulterers,
nor men who practice homosexuality,
nor thieves,
nor the greedy,
nor drunkards,
nor revilers,
nor swindlers
will inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 6:9b-10 (ESV)
People will be lovers of themselves,
lovers of money,
boastful,
proud,
abusive,
disobedient to their parents,
ungrateful,
unholy,
without love,
unforgiving,
slanderous,
without self-control,
brutal,
not lovers of the good,
treacherous,
rash,
conceited,
lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God
2 Timothy 2:3-4 (NIV)
Those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.
1 Timothy 6:9 (ESV)
So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.
James 4:17 (ESV)
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 22:6 (ESV)
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
Galatians 6:9 (ESV)
Special Admonitions for Leaders
Not many of you should become [leaders], my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.
James 3:1 (NIV)
From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.
Luke 12:48b (NIV)
The Liberal Left often cites Jesus' actions (eating with tax collectors and sinners, associating with prostitutes and outcasts) as embracing and accepting their lifestyles. But Jesus was no prophet of all-inclusion. Jesus' mission was one of remaking people who have sinned and accepting them into the Kingdom of Heaven. Each person that came in contact with Him left changed. Christ didn’t eat with the sinners; they ate with Him. He never once shied away from rebuking their sin. As with the woman caught in adultery, his command was "Go and sin no more" - John 8:11 [1], [2].
So, did Jesus socialize with sinners? Absolutely! That was his mission - to seek them out, met them where they were, and extend grace to them in their circumstances. Change would come to those who accepted Christ, but it would be from the inside out [3].
This is what Scripture calls “hardness of heart”. Each stage makes repentance that bit more difficult for a sinner. It also makes the preaching of repentance ever more difficult and provocative, ever more likely to stir up a hostile reaction [4].
Some think that "people should be comfortable” when they listen to a message instead of hearing something they are doing is “wrong”. But Jesus didn't give a message of compromise, tolerance or all-inclusiveness. He gave a message of Love - genuine concern for the eternal wellbeing of the individuals to whom he ministered. He went out of his way to find the "one lost sheep". Then he directed them onto the right path rather than leaving them lost. That was his all-inclusive message. Accepting Jesus is “difficult”, trusting in Jesus with our daily lives is “difficult”, making Jesus Lord of our life is “difficult”, lining up our lives to the way Jesus would want us to live our lives is “difficult” and not many will choose to do it. But for those who do their reward is in Heaven. Everyone has the option to go, but only a few will make it in. Jesus says "Narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it" - Matthew 7:13-14 [5].
God will be victorious over evil. Just because God is silent doesn't mean He approves. He has given us his guidance, his direction; it's up to us to accept it and follow it.
Our goal is to encourage you to rethink your path, and those you have trusted to lead you. Are they really helping you? Has your past direction so-far served you well? Are there better options out there?
