Lives Matter

YES, THEY DO!

Black Lives, White Lives, Latino Lives, Asian Lives, Police Lives, Fireman Lives, Military Service Lives, Medical Worker Lives, Preborn Baby Lives, Boys' Lives, Girls' Lives, Women's Lives, Men's Lives. All made in the image of God, and each is Precious.

In the United States of America our forefathers had the insight to codify that fact into the very beginning of the United States. The second paragraph of the United States Declaration of Independence states [1]:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness"

At the time that was a radical idea. The world was ruled by Socialist Autocracies - the United States made a radical departure from what was then the "normal" way of doing things.

The founders of the United States made another radical departure as well. While guaranteeing religious freedom, it was careful to not establish a State religion. But while not endorsing any religion, the foundation of the Nation's Values were Judeo-Christian values. These values are engrained in the American culture, resulting in the most respected Nation on Earth for its value of every life of every person of every background.
